Occupational Therapy — Helping Patients Live Safely and Independently at Home

Our licensed occupational therapists help patients regain the ability to perform the everyday tasks that matter most — bathing, dressing, cooking, managing routines — safely and confidently in their own homes.

What Is Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapy focuses on the activities of daily living — the practical, personal tasks that define independence and dignity at home. For many patients recovering from illness, surgery, stroke, or the effects of a chronic condition, these everyday tasks become genuinely difficult and sometimes dangerous without the right support. In the home setting, occupational therapy is uniquely powerful because treatment happens in the exact environment where those tasks need to be performed. Our occupational therapists evaluate the patient’s functional abilities, the demands of their daily routine, and the layout and safety of their home — then develop a personalized plan that helps the patient regain function, adapt to new challenges, and remain as safe and independent as possible.
